“I never thought this could be me.”

Neuromusic is a music education service, with a specialty in neuro-movement challenges.

The mission is to make music accessible for all.

Who is Neuromusic for?

Neuromusic focuses on developing the movement skills that make playing possible. By strengthening rhythm, coordination and motor control step by step, music becomes more accessible for those with conditions with associated neuro-movement challenges, such as:

– Cerebral Palsy
– Development Delay Disorders
– Dyspraxia
– Autism Spectrum Disorders
– Learning Disabilities
– Brain Injury/Stroke

It is a learning system that innovates around the needs of the individual, adapting teaching methods to suit each person’s unique strengths, challenges and learning style..

The Approach

As a neuro-music practitioner, I’ve developed a collection of neuro-isolation exercises to activate specific areas of the brain involved in movement, co-ordination, and auditory processing.

My work draws on principles of neuroplasticity, using structured musical exercises to help clients with limited motor control improve co-ordination, speed, timing, and body awareness. These interventions use auditory-motor entrainment, assisted repetitive movement, and rhythm sequencing to strengthen connections between brain and body, and make the joy of playing music accessible.

I do home visits, but also have a part-time venue at The Haywards Heath College. There’s disabled parking, the college security can meet you at the door and escort you to the waiting area. The room itself has low lighting and ear protection is provided.
